A fast company website is one where the text and layout arrive in the first response, load in well under a second on a phone, and can be read by people, search engines and AI assistants alike. That is what we build.
Why do we build prerendered sites?
Many modern sites are built as a single-page app. The server sends a nearly empty page, and the browser builds the content with JavaScript. Users wait, and some crawlers see nothing.
A prerendered site is built once, in advance, as ordinary HTML pages. Nothing is assembled at the moment of the visit. The pages are small, they can sit on a content network close to the visitor, and they have less that can break.
Is this site the example?
Yes. Our own website used to be a client-rendered React app. To a crawler it served an HTML shell of about 5 KB with no content in it. We rebuilt it as a prerendered Astro site, with separate Greek and English pages.
We measured the new home page in a lab test: a local build, Chrome throttled to a mid-range phone on slow 4G, October 2026.
| Measure | Result |
|---|---|
| Largest Contentful Paint (home page) | about 0.44 s |
| Layout shift | 0 |
| Data for a full scroll of the home page | about 260 KB |
These are lab figures from one test setup, not field data from real visitors. They show what the approach makes possible. They are not a promise for your site, which depends on its content.
How do we redesign or migrate a site without losing rankings?
Rankings belong to URLs. If a page moves and nothing points to the new address, the ranking is lost. So the first job in a migration is a redirect map.
- List every old URL that has pages, links or traffic.
- Map each one to its closest new page with a permanent 301 redirect, directly to the final address and never through a chain.
- Keep what works: titles, headings and text that already attract visitors.
- Check after launch: that each old URL returns exactly one 301, that the sitemap is submitted and that nothing important dropped out of the index.
We use the same method on this site. Its redirect plan maps all 33 old URLs, each with a single 301 to its new page, including pages we retired. Old addresses go to the English page, because the old site was English only. If you have a migration in mind, contact us.
What about accessibility?
An accessible site works for more people and tends to rank better too. In every build we check:
- full keyboard use, with a visible focus outline;
- text contrast that stays readable;
- descriptive text for every meaningful image;
- touch targets large enough for a thumb;
- a layout that does not scroll sideways on a small phone;
- reduced motion for visitors who ask for it.
What does a website project include?
Design, build, content structure, structured data for search, a contact form, hosting and monitoring. If you need to edit the content often, we add a content management system. If not, we keep it simple.
